My Misses taurus M94
« on: March 23, 2013, 07:29:57 AM »
I picked up a taurus M94 thats 9 shot revolver for the misses to shoot its her gun.  I never expected the quality of the taurus to be so good.  The m94 is aweome. She shoots it in double action too.  Now i need to look at taurus revolvers a little closer.  I did put moly on the inside moving parts it smoothed out the action.

I just bought an M605 I really like.  The one thing I've gotten from several people who had issues was look it over carefully before purchase.  Sometimes the issues that are there are obvious, like cylinders not bored 100% through and other bad stories I've heard.  Mine shoots very well even with full house .357 loads.  ;)

I have a M94 I bought in the early 90's and it's been a good, reliable shooter.

Based on that experience I bought a M66 in 2002.  Let's just say that was not such a good experience!  Even though they have some models I really like I'm reluctant to take a chance on another one.

Haven't given up on them, but I'm still hesitant to buy another one.  The reviews seem to be getting a little better than they were a few years ago, so maybe there's hope.

I bought a stainless, 4 inch M94 a couple of years ago to play with. It shoots great. The wife got to shooting it and now it belongs to her.
