A while back I was at Gander and got a good deal on a used 243 Handi, I bought a 30 30 barrel from member mo_bio and fitted it to my frame. Went out today with a box of Rem 150gr psp for a test. I decided to relive my youth and put a shotgun stock on the frame with open sights. Well I must have abused my eyes by looking at women, motorcycles and cars too much. I could not hit worth a crap at 75 yds. I took my other Handi in 243 and with 100gr Rem factory ammo and put 6 of them in a 2" circle. After I got home I put the original stock back on along with a Weaver Challenger 2.5x7 scope that I had bought for it. Hope to get back out this weekend.
