I found that a supple recoil pad works much better for me than weight

Actually for yours a youth syn. stock with a recoil pad and a slip on over that would probably work pretty well to dampen the kick and get the LOP good for you.

Right now either of the twin boys can't hold up that much weight out front. So I have plenty of time to figure something out. This plastic stock does have a recoil pad but I may put on a youth stock later on.

BTW, the new stock bolts arrived today. Five of them cost me a about $2.75 each with shipping. Expensive, yes but I think they're worth it...
Now I need to get a socket that will fit them... And enough H&R's to use the rest of the bolts.
