Why does everyone think a .410 is a good youth gun?  A .410 is the worst thing you can give a kid.  The amount of shot is too small, and they load the little shells HOT to make up for the shells short comings.  Start the kid out with a 20ga and skeet loads, (not field loads) they will be happier and so will you when they are able to hit things.

My dad gave me a .410 when I was 12.  I grew to hate that gun.  It kicked too hard, and it caused me to flinch.  I was jerking the trigger so hard I could not hit anything.  I start kids, many young girls, out shooting skeet with a youth 20ga.  They all do well.

This will make a good truck gun, or a good gun for a grown woman to shoot snakes and varmints around the homestead.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

If I am reading this right that's a Versa-Pack....  A Versa=Pack is worth $150 with the .22 alone, isn't it?

Sourdough I couldn't agree more.  The 410 is for the highly experienced bird hunter (quail).  It's a shame the 28 gauge sits in the shadows.

VP 22Lr barrels have sold for nearly $300 on Ebay.  I know some members find this appalling but it's reality.
