22 hornet full length or neck size
« on: March 26, 2013, 09:32:43 AM »
loaded for my handi in the cal so full length was it. Now have a bolt gun what do you guys think is best and why. is see many say adjust the full length to just partial size what are your thoughts on that or just get a neck sizer and call it a day or just keep full length. hoping lil gun works good in this gun which will lead to lower pressure rounds an extended brass life that people say is not good with this call. havent loaded enough to see that issue so far.

when i got my first hornet i had full lenght dies. Sold them with the gun. then another hornet showed up a nef. At that time i was given a lee collet sizer and a seating die. Since then ive bought a ruger 77 hornet and all ive used for both of those guns was the collet die. I kept intending on buying another full lenght die but I keep my brass seperated for each gun and havent ever had them get so big that they wouldnt chamber without full lenght sizing.
