I used to have a SbS coachgun. Nova Scotia didn't allow to use buckshot for Deer until AFTER I sold it. I had no use for it until now.
 
 Recent overpopulation of 'yotes made me buy a very ugly looking 12 gauge pump with a short barrel. I would have preferred a 20 gauge.
 
BTW. the largest pellets I have seen for the 410 was # 3 shot.
 
SA:Thanks for the Info. BTW "Granny" with any auto loader shotgun makes me apprehensive. Sort of like a modern Hollywood Hillbillies"'Granny"     Her SbS and Spring Tonic.

BBF, the 3's might have been the standard for a while, but the 410 has grown up some.

my 'personal' hd/sd shotgun is an 870 mag express stoked with 00 and #7

   Bought my wife a youth model 870 20ga years ago and she never took enough interest in it to recognize that I eventually took it out of her safe and replaced it with a spare 12ga. 870 express. The 12 ga will probably never see the light of day again but that little 20 got camo'd and is now my go-to scattergun, favorite of all time actually. I love shotguns.
