storing wild turkey
« on: February 11, 2004, 04:49:34 PM »
Is there any special way to store wild turkey after you  rip the feathers off  it, chop the head, and ripe the guts out of. I was thinking about getting the Food Saver Plus to store it in. I don't  want  to  eat  this bird unlit  next  Thanksgiving.

I wrap mine in silifane and freezer paper that I picked up at the price chopper. Works fine.
