Even those who want drugs legalized, do not want meth legalized, just marijuana and tax it. It does less damage and one can get off it. Same with basic cocane (not crack cocane). It does less damage and can also be gotten over. Very hard stuff like meth and heroin should always be illegal since it does so much Permanent damage. Even heroin can be overcome. Meth is 10 times more dangerous than the other stuff. Studies have shown that even if legal, the same people doing drugs will be doing it legal. Not much change in percentage of those who would use drugs whether legal or illegal. So, might as well tax it, especially mj and cocane. Same study was done in the 1920's. Same percentage of alcoholics before and after prohibition.
The only real way for America to be restored is a great revival. Marriage must be sanctified and divorce should be much harder to get. Parents should work harder to stay together to raise their children. Statistics show kids whose parents stay together and who spend time with their kids doing family things have about 98% less problems with their kids as teens and they become stable productive adults. Families who stay together and work together for the common good are far far less likely to be in poverty. Single parent households are about 45% in poverty. Doesn't matter if the father pays child support, which is usually a max of 20% of his income.
Two parents working making $10 and hour is $20 an hour family income, thus lower middle class level. Single mom making $10 an hour and only getting about $2 for child support is only $12 an hour, puts her in the poor catagory thus being able to get food stamps and some assistance.
Ireland has the lowest divorce rate of any western country along with Isreal. They require extensive counseling before marriage. They also require extensive counceling for 1 year before a divorce is granted. Thus most marriages stay together. It is better for the children and better economically for the families.
