Courageous allied troops stormed the Normandy beaches..  Americans taking the exceedingly tough Omaha & Utah..with it's perilous cliffs at Pointe Du Hoc..While the Brits & Canadians were fighting tough battles both collectively and individually..on Gold, Juno & Sword beaches.
May God bless those living and God rest those who fought and have passed..

One of the greatest heroes was Juan Pujol, whose espionage work made an enormous difference. He never got a medal, and simply faded back to more or less normal life after the war, except for fear of Nazi retribution. Rest in peace, Garbo.

A trip to Normandee, Western Europe and Austria is on my bucket list of things to do before I move on but I wont fly anymore so a long boat ride will have to be my transportation.

We owe so much to those of the "greatest generation" that fought for American freedom then.

Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.
