New H&R 10 Ga.

I just picked up a used NEF SB2-MAB 10 ga Turkey gun tonight.  Only cost me $119.00 + tax.  I couldn't pass it up I'd say the gun is 90% the barrel and receiver are 100 % the stock has a few nicks in it is the only thing I can see on it. May not have time to shoot it before my deployment but  if not I'll have something to look forward to when I get back.

sounds like a great deal to me. i would have gone for it in a minute. i have tried a few different types of 10ga ammo in my 10ga semi. i know is kinda high priced, but hevishot is worth every penny. it added atleast 15 yrds of range for my duck gun. be sure to let us know how you like it.

      Your the reason I got the 10 ga.  And for the price I couldn't trun it down.  So  I guess next year when I go out for my second sea duck hunt I'll have to take both the Daly Maxi-Mag pump and the HEF 10 ga.  I have already ordered the Steel Mod choke forthe NEF.

Dave<--- i wish i had found a 10ga years ago. now other then waterfowl i would not want one. but there is such a big difference between a 12ga. and a 10ga. i use hevishot now, but i used steel shot for years, and i used to have a hard time with ducks out beyond my decoys with my 12ga. then i tried a buddys 10ga. and what a world of difference :bird:  :biggun:  i bought my SP-10 the next year, and never looked back.

10 gauge is the way to go.  It is my favorite and I would never consider a 3.5" 12 over mine.

$119 is a pretty good deal...I paid $155 for mine brand new three years ago.  You'll love shooting that big bear.
