Scope Mounts for Howa.

Does anyone know if a weaver style 1peice base for a remington 700 long action will fit a howa 1500 308? I tried the s/action version and it was way off.

Yes. The Howa takes the same base as R700.

Bear :  You are trying to put a long action mount on a short action, the 308 is a short action and thats the weaver mount you need to use. :D    JIM
