New Rossi 45 Colt
« on: April 07, 2013, 08:17:27 AM »
Finally took the Rossi to the range.  Feed and function was fantastic and accuracy was good.  I'm very pleased!  Didn't shoot it much, just eough to make sure it was hitting where it was pointed and that it grouped reasonably well with the loads I had.  Load was a 250 gr. Hornady hollow point over 8.5 grains of unique.  I used magnum pistol primers as that is what I had on hand and as you know, primers have been scarce.  Here are the first three shots off of the bench at 50 yards.  Should make a great little deer rifle!

Very nice. I kicked around the idea of one in stainless.

Thanks.  I stumbled on this one sort of by accident.  I was trading off some magazines and other AR15 parts and this came up. I had it listed for trade in the classifieds on here.  Glad I decided to keep it!
