Fireffighter suspect in VA arsons

Interesting that a couple is suspected to be doing the arsons.
What will they say their motives were?
What type neighborhoods were the rental and commercial properties in?
With the number and time involved seems it would have been in the news a little.
How will the media conduct their trial?
Probably just another pair of sick citizens.

 That is not the first time that has happened in Va. Some years back a vol. fireman in Hanover county was setting fires . They were always in the area he served.
 Then there was one who stole the copper pipe out of houses he was fighting the fire in.

That makes more sense than any of my paranoia. Just good old fashioned thieves. ear

there are recorded instances of firefighters
setting fires to feel the rush of fighting a
fire. some kind of psychotic thing in their
head. a firefighter stole a garcia baitcasting
reel from me during a fire years ago. it was
on the unburned handle section when they
got there, and it was gone when they left.
no way to prove it, my word against theirs
i was told.

We had three instances of Vol. Firemen setting hay fires at the dairies.

we need to quit lowering
testing/screening/qualification
standards for all jobs, especially
public service positions for the
sake of diversity.

no no no no no no , We need to ban  matches it is not the fire fighters fault ! if there were no matches it would be a safer place . And all lighters would need to be registered and all sales documented along with a transfer stamp.. AND waiting period.
