Looks like all you watch are Fox, food network and the history channel.
Add Big Bang theory,
Tracks across Africa
NCIS
Southland and top chef and we have about the same things on the DVR.
OK add to that Dexter, Game of Thrones, Bones, Elementry, Body of Proof, Castle, American Top Gear, Bizar foods America, Top Shot and Vikings.
OH have to exclude Pawn Stars, I hate the arrogant fat kid. No horders, I dont need much to be sent down that road.
I do on occasion get into watching situation drama marathons (that is the nice thing about cable channels that have marathons. If you have the time you get a lot of what you missed in one sitting.)
Sadly, or expected, our cable company is taking more and more items off of basic cable and making it so you have to rent a box for every TV in the house to watch a lot of channels now.
I used to go to one TV while the woman watched the other but now the living room TV is the only one with a box so a lot of shows I used to watch are no longer watched.
A good one to watch if you get it on your local PBS station is
Last of Summer Wine, especially the original characters.
It is a bunch of old geezers treating the golden years as if they were still youts.
The Woodwright's Shop and
America's Heartland are other great PBS show but what really pees me off about PBS is they move shows all over the damn place instead of leaving them in one spot so a person can plan a time to watch. (OR they put them on a cable package channel that costs a lot more to watch.)
We used to get local channels that had varied type shows, especially on weekends, on gardening, fishing, hobbies, cars, planes etc. but they have all been sucked up and killed by others with more money that put on nothing but paid commercials hour after hour.
