Really no history. Was going the have the 8 twisted flute job done since the barrel is a full bull barrel. MGM called me asking if I was wanting the standard twist flute or this pattern. They thought that I may have seen the ones they did for a couple other TCA members. I said what they heck even thou I did not see them. I told them that I would then have another reason to have another made with the standard twisted flute. I wanted the twisted flute since it makes the barrel kind of look like a drill bit. Could see the title "Drilled Him" for a future story for the TCA journal "One Good Shot". Justin
