Bears are out in Fairbanks area
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:33:01 AM »
F&G Biologist have ran into Grizzly tracks this week.  The Bear has been springing their Lynx and Coyote traps.  It also knocked down one of their trail cams, that got a picture of it walking away.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

What is their food of choice this time of year, seems like it would be slim pickings? I would imagine they are pretty hungry right about now...Scott B.

p.s. Daughter and friends drove down to Soldotna over the weekend, it was nicer the farther south they went. Still a little chilly on the beach:
