It won't be once they review it.

There has been a few receivers on there over the last month or so. They usually only last a few hours til they get pulled.

If you want one of them, when you first see it email the seller, then you will have his contact once they kill it.  Then you can do what ever you want in picking it up.  Larry

I save a couple on my watch list and they actually slipped through and sold! I dared not bid, not interested in a felony charge. I wonder if the buyer and seller are aware of the laws? I agree it's a dumb law, but not worth it.

In this case the seller said the reason he was selling was the barrel was damaged but the receiver was fine.  He has an established record on Ebay so my guess is ignorance to the law.  If someone isn't into firearms and they are looking at a H&R receiver would they think it's subject to the same laws as an AR15?  I doubt it.  There's no where to insert a cartridge.

If we just dis-reguard the ethics part, I think the law says that the seller is responsiable for the FFL transfer not the buyer.  That would be for keeping someone from just just shipping someone a receiver and then making them a felon?  I don't know, I am not a lawyer.  Larry
