I was just spelling out scenarios mostly , and although we might agree in what I said doing it for real
is a different song . But our leaders do need to show more backbone and stop picking so much
on their own citizens . Its like that's all they focus on anymore is us with an occasional international
scolding now and then . If the goal was as some conspiracys have said, was to bring us down
to a level with the rest of the world . I don't think its working to well all they have accomplished so
far is to fragment us and isolate us from the rest of the industrial world .
Parts of the country are doing ok where other parts are close to poverty . People are migrating in
RVs to areas where the work is but retaining their homes in the hopes that things will get better
back home . RV parks are popping up all over the place here its become a good business to have if
you have the land to put one on . But its the pay scale gap that's hurting us , its either very low or
very high there is little middle ground . But the cost of living is in tune with the higher pay scales
making it hard on people to survive . Albuquerque has a minim wage of $10.50 an hour and Roswell
just went up to $9.50 . What they don't realise about this is inflation is soon to follow so that increase
is only a bandaid on a serious problem . They are saying that technical experience doesn't matter ,
unless you have a PHD , a BS, or a BA your not going to find a decent job .
And a lot of these company's will lie to you just to get you to relocate. Then when you find that out
your pretty well stuck signed papers or not they are betting you don't have the money then to sue
them . So a lot of these transplants end up working at two low pay jobs just to get enough money to get back home . Accident lawyers are springing up everywhere because these company's will find
any excuse not to pay any claims . The problem I have is where are the gov. agency's who are supposed to prevent this ? Noticeably absent especially OSHA or the NRC , they have offices here
but they are always closed and never return any calls or letters . We are paying taxes for services
we are no longer getting ! I have to end up referring my patients to private non profit institutions because even Fed. aid is being cut to people who had been on it for years .
But we have yet to have any application or claims denied to anyone who is from south of the border.
This is why I harp on this all the time it isn't fair to those people who have paid into the system all
their lives expecting it to be there for them if they ever needed it . And it isn't those from S.America
they are highly educated and are promised things to come here that they never get .
They are in the same boat as the rest of us and they usually have savings they use to go back home.
You know who it is the government and businesses are pandering to and why and it needs to stop !
Blacks are saying they are even being lied to and kicked to the curb in favor of these people .
And its getting to epidemic proportions around here, our own state government speaks Spanish first
and anything else is treated like its an American who is the immigrant .
