Remington Model 504 22 rifle
« on: March 30, 2013, 12:42:57 PM »
Welp, for some reason or another, this site refuses to allow Me to search for Remington 504 threads....so, I'll ask here.

Anyone own a Remington 504 bolt 22 rifle?

Any issues with the barrel/receiver junction, or the barrel to stock mating?

Anything else that a prospective buyer should be aware of?

Thank You for taking the time to read and/or reply!  8)

Bought one, brand new in the box, and she's absolutely stunning, albeit, quite hefty for a 22 bolt gun.
The merchant looked through the few that he had on hand, and found one with some "wild wood" as I requested.

Sitting on top is a Leupold VX-1 rimfire 2-7x28 scope, on Burris steel Zee rings, clamped to the steel "weaver style" bases included with the rifle.
Just need to go to the range and test fire, and do final adjustments, since I used the BSA scope/bore collimator for preliminary adjustment.

Here's an image of the little beauty:

Nice looking rifle.  Hope it shoots as well as it looks.

I had one.  I had no complaints.  It was a very nice looking rifle, functioned well, and so on.  I kind of wish I hadn't of sold it.
