25 Caliber Bullets
« on: February 24, 2004, 08:28:03 AM »
I am looking for a source for Remington 25 caliber pointed soft point core lokt (PSPCL) bullets in 117 or 120 grains. Can anyone out there help or does anyone know if these are still made by Remington?
Also any info on comparable bullets by other manufacturers would be appreciated. I want these for use on deer in a 257 Roberts rifle.
Thanks in advance for any info.

I like the Hornady Interlock in the 117 grain BT.  It is a very accurate bullet in my 25-06.  Flew accurately with a bunch of different powder and charge weights.  I personally use the Barnes x 90 gr

Midway repackages more Remington bullets than anyone I can think of.  They still carry some Bronze Points.

The 257 Roberts optimizes with a 100 grain bullet in both accuracy and power. Speer does make some 120 grainers and Hornady makes a couple of 117's and a 120.

I thought I saw 100 grain Corelokts in the latest Midway paper in both 100 and 500 packaging for what seems like a good price.

I was thinking of trying some in my 25/06 at some point.
