Handi Model numbers... Nightmare Numrich "search"
« on: April 19, 2013, 06:02:57 PM »
I have on many occasions used the search function on Numrich's website... the WORSE search engine bar none...
For Handi parts there are dozens of model numbers... none of which seem to apply to current model SB2 break action single shot centerfire rifles... other than the SB2 receiver designation I cannot locate the actual model nnumber of current H&R single shot rifles... anyone???

I'm not sure I understand your post.  I just go to the schematic.

Apparently you understood my post perfectly well... that is what I was looking for... I clicked on H&R and there is a list of pistols/shotguns/rifles all by model number, none of which are designated "SB2" as with the schematic that you posted... the "search" function was worse than useless... for a three word search it rendered hundreds of "pages" of results... It never occured to me to look under "New England Firearms" since they don't exist anymore... I was able to find what I was looking for with the schematic on your link... thanks.

Glad to help.  My first Handi was a .410 NEF so it's just ingrained to look for NEF before I look for H&R.

Hoyt, it took me a year or two to figure that out also.  Even with that, it's still a very ungainly website.  The search function isn't worth beans.  It's the main reason I try Brownells first.  I've had the same problem on Numrich with parts for guns by other manufacturers.  It's a cluster.
