Data Mine
« on: June 07, 2013, 02:35:35 PM »
Does anybody on this forum think that activity on this site is NOT monitored? I think it may be watched very closely.
Is there any real evidence of this? This is a public forum and I suppose the Attorney-General has as much right to
read this as I do. Do you get a trial or simply disappear?

Not only monitored, but recorded.

However, such action is not illegal and does not violate anything.  You type something into a public forum it's there for all the world to see and save.  If you ever get arrested and you have the foresight to destroy your computer, the information you put in is still out there.

I'm a guilty as anyone else of saying things publically that are meant only for forum members.  But it just ain't so.  Writing it on a computer screen and hitting "post" is the same as writing it on paper and sending it to every person on earth.

If you have a cell phone, a wireless device that allows you to have a conversation with anyone in the world, you have no protection against it being received by other than the person it's meant for.  As far back as 1974, I had a police channel scanner that picked the then primitive cell phones.  Put in in the air and it belongs to anyone.  Nothing illegal about taking signals from the air.  And if it is legal to collect, then it is legal to use against you.  Only wire communication is protected.  Phone taps of wire communications requires wire tap court authority.

It's not a matter with law not keeping up with technology.  Technology has given criminals another way to communicate with no legal expectation of privacy.  Stupid of criminals not to realize that.  Speak to someone via Internet or cell phone, and you are speaking publically.  Personally, I'm glad for that.  I'm happy the gov't has the tools to intercept information that criminals voluntarily put upon the airways.

If they monitor my communications, that's okay.  I have nothing to say that will lead to prosecution.  I'm not plotting anything criminal.  If I have an illicit affair with a fluzzy and I talk sex stuff with her on the Internet, I've committed no crime.  (I say that as a matter legalities.  Been married 43 years and never had such communication.)  I'm just saying your private conversations are not private at all if you use your computer or cell phone.

If you want privacy, use a regular telephone or write a letter.  Your emails and cell phone calls are legally retrievable.

I know of 2 locations that monitor ALL internet traffic. One is in Seattle and monitors internet traffic that is international. Then there is the new one on Potranco Road in San Antonio that monitors ALL internet traffic in the US. They have 2 four story buildings at the new NSA that is full of equipment. If you've never seen the NSA in San Antonio, you need to look it up on Google maps. The place is a fortress complete with moat, tank berms, it's own water, sewer, electrical generation, everything it needs to survive with out any outside assistance. It even has a dampening field that covers a 15 mile radius that craters most electronic remote control units (opticals are not effected). I live about 5 miles from it. I used to be able to get TV cva an outside antennae, that's used to anyway.

I just looked it up on Google maps. They show it as Texas Cryptology Center. The buildings to the Potranco Road side are the internet monitoring units. There's more buildings there since the pic from Google as the pic is about 2 years old and shows the place while still under construction. This unit is on the northwest side of town if you take the time to look at it.

Probably a trial these days...but if the powers behind this invasion  get their way, people will soon start to just "disappear"...
That's how it happens in other communist countries!
