Bears are out in Fairbanks area
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:34:45 AM »
F&G Biologist have ran into Grizzly tracks this week.  The Bear has been springing their Lynx and Coyote traps.  It also knocked down one of their trail cams, that got a picture of it walking away.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Well the lizards and snakes are out here. There was a big trantula in my secretary's office. I caught it single handedly and put it outside. ( I live in the dessert hard to imagine stuff Sourdough puts up with daily, but I love hearing about it).

Obviously not the same as a grizzly bear but did provide some excitement for a few minutes.
