looking for recomendations for powder/primer combo for a 38 special. will be loading 125 grn sjhp. 3" barrel.wanting to know what powder has produced best results for you.Looking for accuracy and energy. it will be used mostly for woods roaming, varmints and such. :wink:

I really like 231 in a .38 Spl.
I also have used Bullseye, Unique, Red Dot and Blue Dot.
I even have some original Black Powder Loads!
The .38 Spl. is very versatile as to the powders it likes.
