picked one up today for turkey season...
« on: January 31, 2014, 05:19:16 PM »
i posted before the crash asking if the new model shotguns came with ejectors or extractors. then that night a friend sent me a link to an ad of a local guy selling an older model 12 guage just like i was wanting. so i bought it. stocks and barrel have been refinished but the bore is mirror bright and it is the configuration i want. plus i dont figure it will be a collectible anyway by the time i am done with it. 28" with 3" chamber and full choke. and as a plus, i get the case colored reciever which i think i was gonna have to give up if i bought a new one, as it is my understanding the recievers are all black now. gotta find a buffalo classic stock set and put on it now. i think that will look nice.

hope to pattern it this weekend. now if it will just produce some turkeys. :)

Nice, that looks like an early transfer bar model.
