Is it possible to crimp a 44 mag too much and cause pressure problems?
I just started loading them and purchased new Winchester cases & primers and H110 powder. My bullets are speer 240 Gr Jsp.

Don't think so. Not just from the crimp

It is possible to crimp too much but I don't think it would cause pressure problems. It can cause the case to bulge and maybe not fit in the chamber. The bulge can actually cause the tension on the bullet to be less instead of greater because the only place the bulged case is touching the bullet is in the crimping groove and not all the way from the groove to the base.
