Wanted to get the lightest load I could for my Springfield 45 XD. I got down to 3.7gr of bullseye reliable and accurate. 3.5gr was to light.  I shoot this in  local Pistol match and this load knocks the steel over every time. I get more loads with  a pound of powder since powder is so hard to get now.

Cool, as long as it cycles your gun and does what you want it to do. That's what reloading is about; makin' ammo for your needs/wants!

I have fired a couple thousand 200g SWC in front of 3.5g Bullseye in a 1911 with a 16# main spring. VERY accurate for me.

I'll have to try that load. I use 4.5-5.0 Bullseye under 200 gr LSWC. With powder in short supply, maybe I could conserve some if they will run my 1911s! Thanks
