Trap gun ejecting problem
« on: May 12, 2013, 02:31:34 PM »
Can anyone help me with this problem.  I found a nice 12 gauge trap gun for my son. It shoots lights out.  23/25 on his first attempt.

The problem is that the ejector is sticking every once in a while not ejecting the shell.  The ejector remains stuck in the barrel until you touch the shell with a rod from the other end.  Then it springs as it is supposed to.  The spring seem strong.  We cleaned everything as best we could with gun scrubber and a tooth brush, but it is still occurring.  Any suggestions?

See the ejector tune info in the FAQs sticky.  ;) Wouldn't hurt to polish the chamber too, info also in the sticky.

Thanks Tim, I will give this a try.  I hope I don't break anything in the process.  This should be a nice father son project.
