These look to be brand new. One should always use caution when buying a used chronograph. There's only two types made; those that have been shot and those that will be shot. ;D

Thanks, Dinny

Do yourself a favor and get the F1 Master, the remote display is well worth the extra $20, I've had one for several years, it's a great chrony.  ;)

Tim, I don't understand why you need a remote.  I chrony at 10 feet.  I don't chrony at all at 25, 50 yards, 100 etc.  I let the tables tell me that.  If I can't read the chrony at 10 feet, I shouldn't have a gun in my hands.  I'm not meaning to be rude, just curious.

Dinny, I have had both types....I use the parts from the "have shots" to rebuild the "will be shots" when that happens....and it does.  The last one lasted about 10 years, and negligence finally got it.  To simplify things, the Chrony folks ought to just put a target on them with the display as the bull. ::)   Perhaps, that way, we wouldn't feel so stupid taking one out. :-[

I set the chrony at the distance the cable allows which is about 13' so it's always the same,  I don't have to use binoculars to read the display, or review readings if needed since it's at my finger tips.  8)

I use one of those cheap bore site lasers to setup the chrony, Haven't hit it yet.

  8) Besides the lazer setup, I swapped the steel support rods on my F1-Master chrony for wood dowels so if I do hit one, it won't destroy the sensors they're mounted in.  Mine also has 3-piece diffusers, I glued them together so they're much easier to assemble at the range, I always use the diffusers which insures good readings in all conditions, particularly because we almost always have partly cloudy conditions.
