HA!  I knew someone would drop the F-Bomb shooting that thing!  :) :) :)

Glad you're happy with it.  Please post some pics of the piggies, I'm curious to see the results.

I replaced the video with screenshot to capture the moment without the verbal exclamation!  ;)

All this is a little too much for a little old skinny 150 lb. Wop.  I think I'll pass.

Geeze!!!!  I think I just saw part of someone's shoulder, upper arm and chest go by.  I looked for Dorothy and Toto, but they weren't  flying anywhere around here.  Oh well, gonna go shoot my .32-20 and try not to flinch ::)

Tim, you said you had a .50-140 or same as a .500 Nitro Express? Does that mean you can load .500ne express brass in yours? Have you posted any threads about it, have any links?

No, not identical, but it's equal to a 500NE ballistics when loaded to the same pressure, case volume is about the same, they even look similar.

There are a lot of mild mannored cartridges out there like 257 Roberts, 6.5x55, 30-30 Win etc that are more than capible of dropping a pig cleanly. Why anyone would consider shooting a cartridge like that at something that won't eat you makes me shutter.  :o  There could be some logic in this ::)  less tissue damage and meat loss. Shoot five feet in front of the pig and he'll fall in the hole and break his neck. Even a bad shot would be easy to track, just look for the 30 inch spray of blood.

Well the rifle is at the gunsmith getting drilled and tapped for a picatinny rail to mount my red dot on an get the barrel re-crowned.  Cases should be here in about 2-3 weeks.  Then I can start trying to find a accurate load to use ;D .  Sorry about the video I thought I blocked the volume when I posted it.

No apology necessary for me on the video, I laughed out loud when I watched it.  :)  I would like to say enjoy the rifle but my shoulder is starting to hurt thinking about that monster.   :o

Be sure to document how many (few?) shots it takes to blow the rail & Red Dot off too........

A  "Ultra Dot" reddot  would probably live through the recoil, but they are kinda pricey.
