Been a Doors fan since I was a kid. Bought all their "records" and wore them out. A sad day.

I'd include Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, and he also plays a mean fret-less bass...

Yep, JPJ was very underrated as a keyboard player. I love Booker T. also. I was never a huge Doors fan but Ray was definitely my favorite band member and was the most interesting to listen to in that band. He had is own distinct sound and style.

Another very underrated keyboard player is Lee Michaels. His version of Stormy Monday Blues is unbelieveable. If you've never heard it check this out, it's a 2 man band. Lee plays the bass pedals, keyboard and sings:

my avatar pic is my 1960 Rambler I bought in 1972 for $175..6 banger 3-on-the-tree...drove it for 5 yrs  22mpg.. was "hot-rodding" (LOL) one night...tore out 1st/reverse gear. Drove it that way for 2 yrs(with no reverse and only 2nd and high)  Had to really plan ahead when parking.
sold it for $125

They are putting out vinyl again...I remember the album Doors 13...I wore it out too.

Revive the old turntable...I did..vinyl still sounds better than cd I think.
