Federal Ordinance Barrels

Has anyone tried the FO barrels in the Glocks, and what was your experience with them? I purchased one of these barrels for my Glock 21 to allow me to shoot lead bullets. I initially had problems with mine untill I checked chamber depth and found it to be on the low side. Mine is a tight chamber requiring a fairly heavy crip to be applied. I chamber check all loaded rounds and find the use of a Lee "Factory Crimp" die to be an absolute necessity! I have added the use of the FCD to all my handgun reloading as part of my rotune. Since then, no problems.

Yes the Fed Ord Barrels solved the problems with shooting lead bullets in factory Glock barrels, but the reloading technique had to be adjusted. Good shooting!
