I wonder why the 45LC in the classifieds hasn't been snapped up yet. They usually don't last long if they're priced right. ;)

It's a screaming deal alright ::)  it's the new single shot, California legal Ar-15, that's why it is worth so much. I hope everyone doesn't jump on it all at once.

In my case, even if I had the cash, my FFL refuses to accept anything from a non-FFL, which has caused me to have to pass up a few great deals here I would have loved to snatch up.  I have one FFL in the area that will accept from non-FFLs, but I refuse to pay $75 for a transfer from a non-FFL when the same dealer charges $25 for transfers to/from other FFLs.  Last time I thought I had found a great deal, I had to back out because back then, this dealer first told me they would accept, then when I comitted to buy said they changed their mind and would not, and then a couple weeks later called me back and told me they would but with a $75 transfer fee.  Makes some of these deals that come up a bit expensive once everything is added up.  But I would love to get a hold of one of these some day, just have to wonder if that will ever happen with how the prices on them keep rising.  I keep telling myself that these can't do much, if anything, that my .44mag handirifle can't do, but I still just want one.  Will have to save my pennies and try to find one locally.

I'd buy it but I can't find any 30 round magazines to go with it. ::)

No since in beating around the Bush. That's twice the price that it is worth. That's why it is still there.

Jason, I'll bet you a box of a thousand of your or my favorite primers if he put it on GB with a "Buy it Now", it'd be gone.  (Now all we gotta do is find the primers)  How's that old saying go about fools and their money?  I've seen stuff there and on ebay go for more than twice...once in a while 3 times what I'd pay.  It ain't moving here, because most of us have a pretty good idea of Handi related values.

I think the longgun market is quickly swinging back to a buyer's market.  The couple of gunshops I've been in lately both had full racks of new and used longguns, and a good stock of handguns.

A couple reasons for it I think.  One is a lot of people have spent all their mad money (and some of their grocery money!) on ammo and components.  The other is people don't want to buy a gun if they can't find ammo or components to shoot it.
