Turn around time for a new barrel
« on: May 22, 2013, 05:15:16 AM »
If I was to send a frame back to have a muzzleloader barrel fitted, about how long would it take to get it back? Reason being: I drew a muzzleloader tag for fall in CO, don't have muzzleloader and I don't know if I should buy one, borrow one, or if time allowed send my frame back to be fitted for a .50 cal. barrel. What say you all?

Turn around is 2-3 weeks right now.  I like my Sidekick now, but I hated it until I cut it down to 20" from 26".  A new muzzleloader barrel is around $215 total cost, and that's without a scope base.  Just my opinion, but I think there are better options if you need a muzzleloader.

Guess it all depends on when you send it. I sent in a frame this February, they had it two days and it was back on it's way to me that second day with a new 7-08 and a crackerjack trigger job. I was pleased- to say the least!

I come up with 186 dollars plus sales tax including a flat rate box to send the frame.  You should have no problem having it back in a couple of weeks.
