Gee. For some reason I hear taps. I really got lots of info from that site. Where else would someone so readily find out about Marlinitus, & the fix for it.

But on a positive note, the demise of MT has pursuaded me to run across other great forums.

Nor do I. Haven't been there in over a week. Was there every day, sometimes several times a day before that. I have 8 Marlins, MT is the reason for puchasing at least 6 of them. Would still like to have the new .32 H&R though.

I do not know if it was for naught Dali you caused some folks there to like you, some to hate you, and some to wear out their fingers typing responses to your post good and bad.         You and all the others there made a difference to some wether it be positive or negative as you and others will do here and at the other forums also but I do not see that as wasted. If nothing else it gave folks something to do as it does here so I do not see how it was for naught. No I think that these forums those that are here and those that are not anymore have accomplished something no matter if it is postive in some respects and negative in the other.  For the most part I think most of these have been positive! It's like the passing of an old friend, or a local hostillery being pulled down.  I had many happy hours there and I hope I made a few friends there.

I only have three marlins, all of which I love to shoot, but I don't think I will visit their site again.

Let's hope we can get the same kind of reparte going on here, the exchange of information, jokes, stories etc. when all of the old guys from MT finally migrate here.
Keep Smiling.

Ok Neil start telling stories  :)  :)  :)  Not sure if all the gang will get here as they have found several places to call home but there is enough here to make it feel almost the same. Jim

Dali Llama say it apparently be taking some longer to recognize elitist, exclusionary ways of several other forums.

My anti-government side (my best) wonders if the MT posts are truly gone or if they exist in a database somewhere near DC.  What a great way to piece together who owns what.  Few of us on MT or here are happy on April 15th each year.

Maybe its too conspiratorial but it wouldn't surprise me.

Dali Llama say that be one reason, among several, why he think it not be wise to participate in "how many weapons do you possess and what are they" type of threads.
