Kid cooks anymore are what are ruining restaurants. They slam these kids through on how to cook
then take off and don't supervise them. The low adjusted pay scales are another problem and its
the same with the waitresses. The lure of good tips isn't always what its cracked out to be.
A restaurant next to a casino you would think would be a great place to work, but it isn't.
Customers largely have just lost all their money, are drunk on their tails, or are in a very bad mood.
I don't remember the reflector ovens that was before my time. But I do still have one of those old
engine manifold ovens around here someplace from the 1960s. I guess they worked I don't know
i think this one fits a 350 Chevy. Oh yummy motor food but did people actually use these things?
I also have one of those round window mount air conditioners that were swamp coolers for a car.
All my dads old stuff the things he had would be a pickers delight. He also had an old Sinclair oil
company sign that has a big dinosaur on it. He kept receipts on everything including some from
gas stations that were restaurants, sporting goods stores, garages, or just about anything a
traveler would need on the road. One I have showed where him and my mom filled up with gas that was 15 cents a gallon, had a turkey dinner, and he bought a Winchester shotgun all in the same
place. Somewhere in the outback of Pennsylvania, the place was also a hotel and had a mini movie
theater called Earls one stop.
