found one for 269 is that a good price for a good clean no scratched gun? had a decent little scope on it and a little sleeve shell holder. Good shape. Tempting!

That's a new price, I'd talk em down if'n I could, $225 would be a good offer depending on what scope is has on it, if it's a good scope like a Leupold/Burris/Nikon I'd snatch it right up, if a China scope, I'd make an offer.  ;)

My starting offer price at a pawn shop is 2/3 of the price marked.  I've bought a few they marked for about $300 and never paid more than $225.  Most I got for the $200 offer.

Too many of the pawn shops around here are selling on the net.  They aren't willing to deal like they they usta, one place will only knock off $20 from a $500 rifle AFTER he has pulled the rings and scope off to sell separately. :-\   DP
