Getting on the web site
« on: June 12, 2013, 03:30:41 PM »
Is anyone else having trouble getting on the web site?  I can usually get in but it sometimes takes 3-4 tries while getting a message saying forbidden web site.

We've bought a new program that Matt is hoping will fix the permission issues. Rat at this moment however he is at the emergency room where he has been most of the day with syptoms of a stroke. He had symtoms of a minor stroke a few days ago as well. So ain't nuttin happening to fix the site until he's back home and feeling better.

If before hitting post you'll highlight then copy your message then you won't lose it if you get the forbidden message. I did it on this one but it went thru OK. I didn't see it this morning but it's sure coming hot and heavy tonight.

I just restarted the server, so it should be good to go for a while, I'll restart it again before I hit the sack, then you're on your own until morning when I'll restart it again, been SOP for quite a while now.

Sure hope Matt is Ok.  :-\

Matt is back home. He got in sometime after 1:00 AM last night. He has now had two mild stress related strokes within a week's time.

That's good news on Matt.  I guess we can be stressful at times.  Thanks for the response.  I had always been able to get on the site but it seemed like it was taking slightly longer each day.  Like so many others I really enjoy this site and the members are the most helpful and concerned for each other of any other sites I have viewed.

I miss it when I can't get on the site and was concerned that it might be getting worse.  I NEED MY DAILY FIX OF GRAYBEARD OUTDOORS!!!

Thanks.   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Glad he's home, will pray he has no lasting affects from the strokes.

I have some additional details now on Matt.

He was driving back from them taking the kids to Six Flags when he started looking pale and stressed. Heather told him to pull over and let her drive. He pulled over and then blacked out. Her and Blake apparently got him into the passenger side and she began driving.

When he woke he wanted to know what he was doing in the passenger side. He had no memory of what had taken place or how he got there. He was taken to the hospital emergency room when they got back to Anniston. He stayed there until about 1:00 AM as they monitored his heart.

This is the second time within about a week he has had a mild stroke and a long time ago he fell when he was working in a trailer he was reworking with plans to rent it out. He was paralazed and unable to move for an extended period but he doesn't know how long and none of us even knew he was there working. That was several years ago. He eventually was able to move then got up and got himself home.

I'm not certain of his current condition but he's not doing any work for now and is resting.

He doesn't need to be worrying about the site right now... just focusing on getting well. I'm sure Tim's got a handle on things around here until Matt's back on his feet. ;)

Matt told he awhile ago when I was talking with him that the new program we bought has found a long list of things that need to be fixed. I guess it doesn't fix the issues only finds them then he still has to fix them.

I'm not sure when he'll be able to get busy fixing them but hopefully the program and him getting well and making time to fix them will fix the problem in time.

I've got a great Stoke/Migraine specialist in Phoenix if Matt ever wants one.  Tell him to get this under control now.....he doesn't want a full bore stroke.......life changers.  Best wishes to him.
