I found primers

Was at the last Lima gun show and there were a couple of guys that had both small pistol and small rifle primers , Win as well as CCI , and the prices were not bad at all . Granted the price was not what it was 6 mo ago , but all things considered , just over $40.00 per 1000 was not bad .  ;)
 
Now to just find 22lr that doesn't require a 2nd mortgage to buy 500 .  :(

I was a nice guy , seeing as I still had 5k of each on the shelf , I only got 1000 of each , decided to leave some for the others that were running low , talked to one of the guys the next day and he had sold all the ones he had brought to the show in the first few hours , but still had 20k of each back at his shop for the normal customers to buy .
 
So if he's getting 50k at a time it looks like supply is starting to catch up with demand in some places .

I was able to order some 22 cal hornadys to load all my 223 brass Friday, I hope things are finally calming down.

Stimpy, way to go. If everybody did what you did
and only bought some of an item things would catch up

I had been looking for small rifle and small pistol standard primers for a good while. About two months ago one local shop got some small rifle and small rifle match so I picked up some small rifle. I have been in and out every week or two for a while and last week when I went in they had received a good bit of small pistol so I got some for me and my brother, still left plenty for others. This week they still had most of what I left along with large rifle and pistol and it looked like more small rifle. This shop has never really carried reloading supplies until now. They still can't seem to get powder though. Well at least I am stocked up on my primers.

Powder has never seemed to be a problem around here , unless you wanted some VV or a real oddball , the normal stuff was to be had just about any day .
