I finally got around to working up a load for my Yugo SKS. Tried some AA2200 Data Powder that I have had for a long time. Loaded some at 29 grs and some at 29.5 which is max according to data that came with the powder. Was using Lapua cases, Rem 9 1/2 primers and 123 gr Hornady SP .310 diameter. At 75 yards both loads shot about like the normal factory Wolf, Tiger etc. ammo does between 2 and 3 inches. Then I tried a load of 29 grs H322 everything else the same. BINGO! 5 shots in 3/4" with 4 of them touching. This is with open sights and a stock rifle from a bench rest and a trigger that feels like dragging your finger across a gravel road. Came home and loaded up some more and now the SKS is loaded and ready for duty if needed.
