H&R 20gauge
« on: June 05, 2013, 05:44:51 PM »
Love this thing! We've taken many grouse with it and never any issues other than the ugly orange color stain they used on the stock. I do hydrographics and so i spent some time prepping the stock and barrel and gave her a new look anyone would be proud to have LOL. It blends is great when i take it into the oak brush, this fall i will get some pictures of it in the brush when the leaves are orange.

That's a really nice camo job!  Looks like a perfect match for hunting in the oaks.

Just don't set it down - you may not find it again. :'(

Ditto on what spruce said.  However, now you will have to tie some pink flagging aroung the barrel to keep up with it.

WOW! excellent work, ever think of doing stock sets for sale>hint, hint!

+1 on what JP said, I sat one of my H&R down one time to retrieve a grouse that hit the ground, instead of dragging it through the brush. I would have sworn (and did plenty of that) that big foot ran off with it ;D  about a hr later found it leaning up against the tree.
maybe I don't want it camo'd afterall. Last year during squirrel season, my buddy put to squirrel on the ground, when he went to retrieve one and we never did find those two, dang big foot must of gotten em.....
