Snowshoes...
« on: February 19, 2014, 05:50:18 AM »
I'm looking for something in the moderate $$$$ range--100-150 or thereabout...

Probably will only be used very occasionally, as needed to venture to an area I can't get too with a foot of snow or more...

Any suggestions?...

Thanks...BCB

Depends on what you want.  Coleman's Military Surplus has G.I. snowshoes for $50 a pair, with universal bindings.  They are magnesium with cable webbing and look like the old wood/babiche Michigan style webs.  For occasional use they would be fine.  Campmor has the modern type snowshoes for $100 to $200.
