New Boat Howitzer

I just got back to the States from Korea a day ago and one of the things here to greet me was the 1.75" boat howitzer from Dom.  It's a REAL beauty and I look forward to trying it out this summer while I'm here.  Thanks, Dom!

So are you building a land carraige or slide or both?

At this point, it will have to be a slide; a land carriage will have to come later (time and money).

I can just see that beauty sitting on a slide carriage mounted on the bow of my fishing boat. A load of canister and the jet skiers would leave a very large zone of tranquility around me. Currently a 0.75 cal Dom Dahlgren on a sliding ramp barbette occupies that post of honor.

Yeah someday I would like a good boat to mount my little bronze swivel on......  need to check the laws here in Virginia though heard something about the use of firearms on the water........
