I saw both listed in FAC catalog. Are the barrel threads the same? :-D :-D

Both are large ring mausers the difference is barrel lengths the CZ98/22 is 29" barrel length the CZ24 is 24" barrel length. BigBill

No but the longer barrel may out shoot the shorter barrel. BigBill

barrel length is not an indicator of accuracy...in fact, a shorter barrel of the same profile usually is more accurate than a longer barrel...the longer barrel with the same load will give you more muzzle FPS, but is not an accuracy point...

The distance may not show up in 100yds but as you go out farther the longer barrel will out perform the shorter barrel. Its really noticeable with the swede mausers with their pinpoint accuracy. Its also noticeable in the mosins too but they do out shoot the mausers in accuracy. BigBill
