I have a few .54 cal. Renegades of various years.  I took a look at the butt plates and found that they were not interchangable.  They were close, but not exactly the same.  I think if you get one from T/C you are going to be looking at a little fitting.

I did not go and measure them from your measurements.  This was a couple of years ago when I ordered a replacement butt plate from T/C for one of my Renegades that had recoil pad attached when I got it.

The stock butt plate that I received as I remember was a little larger and I had to take off a little metal.  I compared that one to the stock on my other ones and it was pretty much the same, but they all seemed very slightly a little bit different in size.  I don't remember exactly, but I think I switched them around and fitted the new one to one of the others and took the one from that stock and fitted it to the one that had the recoil pad.

What I suspect is that they are fitted to the wood during manufacture, however year of manufacture and differences in production runs could explain the difference.

my problem they just restock a new englander fore me with a black mountain walnut stock, with the stock thay attach a recoil pad that took the traditional look away from the gun I would like to restock the butt pad either with a renegade or a new englander pad,I can also rework the butt plate if there were enough metal to work with.

I measured the OD on three this morning:

Height:  4.665, 4.520 & 4.609
Width:  1.466, 1.472 & 1.422

Hope this is of some help.
