Handlebar/windshield bar
« on: February 06, 2014, 09:29:46 AM »
Who has one of these?  Any recommendations?  Although I have side bags, I'd like a convenient place to carry my wallet and small pistol and garage opener, or other small items that seem to get lost in the saddlebags.  (Those items in my pocket make the ride a tad uncomfortable.)

Topic is incorrect.  I meant "handlebar/windshield bag."

no problem. i kinda figured that.

there was one of those bar/w.s. bags on
my bike when i bought it. i took it off because
it flopped at speed and when i would get off
i'd always have to double back and get whatever
i'd stowed there. it was more trouble than
it was worth to me. one of those vests
with multiple pockets might be another
option if you don't want to tote your goods
in your pockets. i'll put this in too. i'm
not a fan of the long chain wallets. i'll
take the 5th on why. :(
good luck

I think Jafrum has them.  My Harley came with one attached to the inside of the windshield.  I really like it and the latch turns to close it not just Velcro.  I have also had one on another bike that tied to the handle bar which worked fine.  I might have got that from Jafrum.  I find them handy for sun glasses, garage door opener remote and the like.  Never had one open on a ride.

As for the pistol, I prefer a belly band, high on my ribs.  Comfortable and easy to access while riding if needed.
