I would like to know what name brand of rings and bases have worked good for you.With your encore.Do you use low or med. or high rings.

Warne bases, medium rings. The only reason for the medium is so I can cock the hammer without a spur. They are heavier than some but I have had no problems at all with them, super strong.

All I ever use is the weaver bases and rings. Hight depends on the scope I'm puting on it. I do add an extra mounting hole up front for support. This means you have to drill and tap an extra hole in the barrel your mounting to but I feel its worth the effort. A lot of people like the Burris Signiture "Zee Rings" with the sphearical inserts. You wont have to lapp rings or anything with these. KN
