Ditto here too guys.   6 inches snow and 10 below.....  snowshoes are really getting a workout.   In fact i have a pair of alaskan trail shoes for sale, like new...60 inches long and 12 inches wide.  Very light in weight.  They have up turn nose of about 6 inches.

Good to see use back in 2014. The last time this site opened for me I was looking at December 30, 2011!!!. That was a good trapping season for me, I would do that again as compared to what we have had this year. We had 28 yesterday with 3 inches of snow and then 30 mph winds that made it slippery and then -7 last night and -10 tonight and a high tomorrow of 12 with about 5 more inches in our area.
I have a pair of those Alaskans Lee and I like them a lot. I have a pair of Michigan's that are 13 by 48 and a pair of Tubbs 9 by 30 aluminum. I use those when we have icy snow as the ice shreds the webbing and the frames.
