Canning supplies
« on: May 21, 2020, 03:28:34 PM »
I hope everyone that puts up food has your jars and such in good order. I had to search a bit to find my quart jars, and I still didn't find them all,  but I'm in fair shape over all as far as lids and a fair supply of rings. I did pick up some half pints before things started getting scarce and expensive, mostly for putting up jalapenos. Most all jars and lids and such are all but nonexistent in my area now. I was looking at Lehman's about a week ago and noticed they were OUT of all of the jars they carry. Things are bad when Lehman's runs out of canning supplies.

Wife and I are well-stocked also - but I know and shop at Lehman's semi-regularly and you are right, if they are out of canning supplies it's getting interesting.

BTW, where are you located?  I'm near Massillon myself.

I'm a long way from Ohio here in east Texas, but
when I get an opportunity to get online, I can
bring Lehman's right through the front door. I've been
mail order shopping with them a long time

LOL I just assumed (I know, I know) that anyone that knew and shopped Lehman's was in Ohio. I never knew they had a mail order business.

Not a big deal.  I have noticed they've
raised their prices considerably on a lot
of their merchandise to where it's hardly
economical to order from them on a lot
of their products. They still have a lot of
things that are hard to find locally. Amish
stuff I guess you'd say.  :D
