Found some tough arrows.
« on: June 24, 2013, 08:20:05 PM »
On another forum I asked about what's the toughest arrows out there today. I'm going elk hunting this year and there's no telling how many shots are on my current arrows. Probably thousands of shots each since they are 5 years old.

They recommended back eagle zombie slayers. Well I've had em about a week. Weren't any culls in the dozen. 3 can stay within a Copenhagen can at 50 yards. They are $44 for 6 or $88 for 12 on eBay. They come with half moons installed and a pack of flat nocks if you have an excal or tenpoint. I'm not going to be shooting block walls to test them like they do on that forum but they seem pretty tough. They are 330 gr in 20". Probably a little heavy for some folks ate up with speed but if you're looking for a tough carbon these seem pretty good so far. With archery season coming 4 months away I figured other folks may be needing some arrows in a little while.

Haven't shot any broadheads yet on them. But the swhacker 125s have the same poi as the field points on the other arrows.
